IES Liquids is Australia’s leading transport logistics provider for the fuels and hazardous liquids sectors. Through its Cootes Transport subsidiary, IES Liquids has been at the forefront of the industry since the 1960s, helping Australia’s energy and chemical companies to distribute their products. IES acquired Cootes Transport in 2005 and has successfully grown the business both organically and through strategic acquisitions.

IES Liquids operates across all Australian States and Territories and has terminal infrastructure in every capital city (except Darwin) as well as in many major regional towns and centres. The division is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia and currently employs more than 935 people, including more than 750 drivers.

Since its earliest days as Cootes Transport, IES Liquids has maintained a number of very close and long term customer relationships. Current customers include leading fuel, energy and chemical companies such as BP, Caltex, Elgas, ExxonMobil, Incitec, Origin Energy, Shell and Vitalgas.
