IES Equipment has two core divisions – Liquip, which is based in Australia, and Beta Fluid Systems, which is based in the USA.

Liquip – Liquip is a leading manufacturer of a broad suite of loading / unloading, storage, measurement and other devices for fuel and gas road tankers. The division operates along the two key business lines of aviation equipment and component manufacture.
The aviation division is based at Sunshine in Melbourne, Australia and designs, engineers and assembles aircraft refuellers and dispensers as well as other specialised vehicles for the transportation of petroleum products for the Australian and export markets. Liquip is the leading provider of this equipment within the Asia Pacific region.

The component manufacturing operation is based at Smithfield in Sydney, Australia where it manufactures a range of fuel and hazardous chemical handling equipment including loading arms, couplers, fittings and accessories, as well as electronic level measurement devices such as Diptronic and overfill systems. Each product is made to the highest standards and undergoes rigorous quality testing prior to sale.

Beta Fluid Systems – Beta specialises in the manufacture of aircraft refuelling equipment, but also manufactures a range of other fluid handling products including filtration systems and fluid recovery and recycling systems. Beta is based in North Carolina, USA and was acquired by IES in 2006 as part of the company’s strategy to expand its business into other products and also internationally. Beta is the leading supplier of refuelling equipment to the USA military.
